CONTROVERSIAL plans to flatten homes have been approved by a council to secure government funding for regeneration.
Salford town hall bosses are going against the views of residents who only wanted a handful of homes demolished.
Seedley South residents are `angry but not surprised' that their regeneration proposals were sidelined. Their preferred option - improvements and minimal house clearance - is no longer on the table, as council chiefs say it lacked the `wow factor'.
