pretty vacant

Me in Liverpool L8, this morning.
My brain is fried after a very long day of travelling, interviewing, shooting and thinking....I shudder to think that I now have around three hours of audio to transcribe before I can even start writing my pieces.
Standing on the wrong platform in the cold, pouring rain at Liverpool's Edge Hill station for the best part of an hour - missing two Manchester-bound trains and forcing me on a slow detour via Warrington - was not the slick and efficient finale I was hoping for. The worst part is that it was entirely my own dumb fault.
