As UK restrictions started to be lifted on 31 May, I lost interest in the story but I was able to turn the work into a self-published book thanks to a successful Kickstarter campaign, and the original images were exhibited locally at Levenshulme Old Library in October 2020 - little were we to know that we would soon be back into lockdown. A year into the pandemic, I invited a number of people who I’d photographed for the book to reflect on their experiences of the past 12 months. These annotated images were exhibited at Dark Peak Photography Festival in 2024.
