The latest issue of Red Pepper magazine takes an in-depth look at Britain's housing crisis, with pieces looking at the protest movements springing up around stock transfer, arms-length management and regeneration. It's well worth seeking out if you have any kind of interest in such matters.
In a feature I contributed, I spoke to ordinary people from Bootle and Toxteth, both in Liverpool, and Salford, to hear the challenges involved in fighting the demolition of their communities. Some have been successful, while others haven't.
